Tomorrow is the International Day of Solidarity with Long-Term Anarchist Prisoners (or, simply, June 11th, because the full name is a mouthful) and we're marking the date with a fundraiser!

Last year we raised almost $900 for freedom fighters inside the prison system, and this year we're aiming to break a grand by donating net proceeds from every single sale we make in-store and online!

Every book, t-shirt, sticker, or other item you purchase Wednesday will generate funds for prisoner commissary, legal defense, and other crucial support needs.

So, grab your next read, and then, if you're local, head next door to The Odd, where BRABC is organizing a benefit concert featuring four bands, local art, and a raffle. For more information on June 11th, check out june11.noblogs.org, where you can also find a list of individuals supported by the campaign.

"Beyond targeting the mere content of speech, these efforts are meant to forestall even the acknowledgment of Palestinian life. Our mere identity as #Palestinians is controversial, we are told; not even our children, not even our dead, can be celebrated or memorialized." - Jennifer Zacharia

'The #Trump administration’s crackdowns on pro-Palestinian #activism look eerily similar to a conservative proposal to target universities and international students it claims are part of a “terrorist support network”.

'Who is behind the plan, and what will its impact be?'

Understanding the Immigration Crackdown

"[T]hough the sheer speed and spectacle of the offensive makes it appear new, many of the legal and enforcement tools at play are old, with the administration drawing on Cold War-era laws, War on Terror-era agencies, and Obama- and Biden-era precedents."

highly recommend this series of 4 episodes about #JustStopOil protesters who are political prisoners in the #UK and the devastating effect of #StateRepression on themselves and their families.

#GifsArtidote: the extreme crackdown by #UKgov on peaceful protest & direct action shows the narcissistic power dynamic in the relationship between civilians and the state. when the state acts with impunity, resistance becomes moral duty.

the state has the #responsibility to respond decisively and systematically to tackle imminent threats to life and our environment caused by this political and economic system.

just like my ex-partner has to take responsibility for systemic threats to his life by his trauma induced thinking and behaviour (his political system on micro level) and his actions as a result (his economic system on micro level, for instance spending money on alcohol & weed whilst cutting on healthy food & essentials). if he then manipulates me to sacrifice my income to sustain him, i have a moral duty to take responsibility for myself and protest that demand by stating he first needs to take steps to address the causes of his fundamental problems, in other words, take accountability.

same happened with these protesters. they pointed out the state should stop fossil fuel extraction and consumption because it's threatening our collective life and environment. but because the #BillionaireClass relentless addiction to profit and fossil fuel, they manipulate civilians into believing we have to pay for their 'essentials' instead of dealing with the root cause of climate change: #capitalism and #authoritarianism. their actions show the government only represents the billionaire class, and the system is set up to only benefit them, like narcissists do.

by gaslighting the public to believe these protesters are terrorists they destract and ignore their own terrorism by deliberately fuelling climate catastrophe to maintain the status quo of capitalists' narcissistic psychopathic megalomania.

now, like my personal situation, the #StateWeAreIn is life threatening. therefore militant direct action is justified to save our lives, our dependants lives and our environment. narcissistic psychopaths can only be stopped through cutting off all contact, enablement and money before a multi-disciplinary intervention, restrainment of freedom and then psychological treatment.

we can all take personal responsibility to #educate #organise & #resist through #boycotting big business, #invest in local community, #sabotage the system and create alternatives. but the most important priority is focusing on caring for ourselves and each other, setting boundaries and defending them, asking for help and looking to help others.

to be honest, i have no one I can ask and state & community services seem to have largely abandoned me, or are grossly insufficient.
i am looking to build a social safety net for myself, so if you can offer any emotional support and you are yourself emotionally and psychologically stable, please contact me. don't expect anything in return though, i have given my all and am running on empty, in every sense of the word. see it as an investment with a long term return. i also don't trust anyone so bring good references and accreditation cause i don't take nobody's bullshit.
if you do succeed in building my trust in you, you'll have a sibling for life who'll return the favour.

"If history is any guide, rescuing the rights now being rolled back will require a range of tactics, including vigorous #protest itself. It will also require building broad and unwavering consensus about the speciousness of the rationales being offered for today’s draconian crackdowns."

This Is Palestine Justice for Mahmoud Khalil: A Conversation with Dr. Noor Abdalla, wife of Mr. Khalil | This Is PalestineIn this episode, we hear from Dr. Noor Abdalla, a Syrian-American dentist and the wife of Mr. Mahmoud Khalil, a prominent Palestinian student activist and legal U.S. resident who has been illegally detained by ICE since March 8, 2025, for speaking out about Palestinian rights. Mr. Khalil was abducted by ICE while coming home from a Ramadan iftar with Dr. Abdalla, who was 8 months pregnant at the time. Mr. Khalil’s chilling abduction has sent shockwaves through student and activist communities around the world. In her own words, Dr. Abdalla recounts the horrific moment her husband was taken in front of her and speaks with host Diana Buttu about the ongoing toll this separation has taken on their lives. On April 21, Dr. Abdalla gave birth to their first child without Mahmoud by her side. In a cruel decision, the Department of Homeland Security denied Mr. Khalil’s request and permission to attend the birth of his first child, whom Mr. Khalil has only met over video. While speaking with Ms. Buttu, Dr. Abdalla not only delivers a powerful call for her husband’s freedom, but she also states that this is not just about Mahmoud; this is about all of us, and we must refuse to be silent about Palestinian rights and continue to speak out during times of injustice. Mr. Khalil is one of the many students and scholars being targeted by the Trump administration for speaking out against Israel’s genocide in Gaza and demanding that the US stop supplying weapons to Israel. From Columbia University to Tufts, ICE has orchestrated a wave of politically motivated unlawful detentions—often in public, and without warning or due process. Please see below the ways you can learn more about the call for Mr. Khalil’s freedom and safe return home with his family: IG: @justice4mahmoud https://www.instagram.com/justice4mahmoud/?igsh=MXA5aXR0Zzh4a3k4dA%3D%3D#

'Terms like “quislings,” “Thermidor,” “Vichy,” and “submission” have circulated widely in articles denouncing #Columbia’s surrender, zeroing in on betrayal as the proper note to strike. But it is not really betrayal when those committing the action have no investment in the principles betrayed.'
