Remember when Bishop Pham of #SanDiego directed his priests to accompany immigrants in the courthouse? They're still at it, and this picture about sums it up.

Time for another protest mailer, which of course came in the same inconspicuously looking letter as the trash fee.

The protest is a vote, and #SanDiego makes it pretty difficult to even identify it as such, let alone exercise that right. It's sneaky & deceptive.

Can anyone identify this bird that was hanging out near my pond? My gut says red tailed hawk, but I want to be sure. I’m trying to figure out if my fish (4-6” or smaller; very snackable for a bird of that size) are at risk, or if he’s just looking for a drink. #birds #sandiego

Last night’s #SanDiego Citizens’ Law Enforcement Review Board had a HUGE number of public speakers - you’d think this would be a good thing, but most were family members of people who died in our jails

Turns out, the more people dying in-custody from abuse and neglect, the more loved ones showing up demanding something finally be done to hold the SD #Sheriff accountable
