Or generate a pylintrc file in the tests/ directory, with the following line: source-roots=..BTW, this code:import sys sys.path.append('..') import foo f=foo.Foo(3,4) print(f.get())generates pylint warning: test_foo.py:5:0: C0413: Import "import foo" should be placed at the top of the module (wrong-import-position) which needs to be ignored.The pylint part I consider neat and I am happy with that.
