SiranaHey Fedi, we're looking into getting a small projector instead of a TV. However, I would prefer to have one without "Smart TV" functions or own Android OS or so. I just want to be able to project movies and games from a computer, laptop or phone onto my wall, like in the "good ol' days", because I don't really trust so called "Smart Home" devices. And I don't know how much they might start complaining about compatibility issues when the projector OS considers the connected OS outdated or vice versa. Is this a thing? Love All the metal with baked paint and the lovely case with a speaker behind the fancy grill and a hidden compartment for wires and accessories. Very nice for the time. Love it, but no place for it. Emoryas you might have figured out the two favorite "Projectors under $900 and $300" at my house are:- the LG Cinebeam4K. it is an incredible value at $890 it was the only 4K projected image i could find under $1000, **and** it has Airplay2 built in, which is great for our needs. it also runs <a href="https://soc.kvet.ch/tags/WebOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#WebOS</a> like my <a href="https://soc.kvet.ch/tags/LG" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#LG</a> tv. It's a really remarkable <a href="https://soc.kvet.ch/tags/projector" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#projector</a>. - the <a href="https://soc.kvet.ch/tags/dangbeiNeo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#dangbeiNeo</a>, just under $200 and a lot of compromises but with a gimbal it's easy to move room to room, but it isn't as bright as the $900 ones

Emoryokay i am returning this <a href="https://soc.kvet.ch/tags/projector" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#projector</a>, the <a href="https://soc.kvet.ch/tags/dangbeiAtom" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#dangbeiAtom</a>. it uses <a href="https://soc.kvet.ch/tags/googleTV" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#googleTV</a> which is a huge improvement from android TV. the Atom acts like a TV in all respects in terms of UI and terminology. the remote is OK Google and has buttons for auto calibration for keystone, obstacles, and focus. sharp, corner to corner all the way to 180" but corners get softer at 200". fantastic color &brightness. it will illuminate the room it is used in. hdmi +arc and usb. audio is clear dialogue, stereo. no airplay🙃

I'm using <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/gelatin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#gelatin</a> but I've noticed a bunch of guys changing to titebond <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/HideGlue" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#HideGlue</a> or generic. Maybe the polymerize is more effective or something. So I'll try that one day.
