I don't own a embroidery machine so I needed to do the cutiemark and eyes with my sewing machine alone.
But I am still happy with how the plushy turned out! c:

#April page of the 2025 fox plushy calendar.

This photo might not look like much but it has a lot of emotional value for us. The foxes and I live in a big city with very little greenery. So every year in April we rent a small cottage out in the woods and enjoy the sounds and smells of nature.

Dear friends of the #FoxCalendar, once again I'm a bit late in creating the new thread. The holidays have been busy and there have been some sad news that the foxes had to help me deal with.

But now I'm back, ready to show you the 9th edition of the fox plushy calendar. Once again, all photos were taken by me or close friends of mine. Feel free to share but please link back to me. If you want a printed copy, hit me up, I have some spares.

It's the LaserKaraoke parrot and his band ensemble!! From Japan!!!

Really hard to find info on the blue and purple parrots, but they are backup support it seems otherwise!

They appear to be fully licensed products down to a very small PIONEER stamp/insignia found within the attached loop tag near the feet.

#December page of the 2024 fox calendar.

And with this, the second year of posting my plushy calendar on Mastodon comes to an end. Next year, there will of course be a new one with twenty physical copies (my biggest print run so far) already on their way to my place and of course I'll also post everything here.

The #Blackforest #elk goes #PeakyBlinders.

Yeah, I finished the crazy project which is completely sewn by hand - including a warm polar fabric lining. (The only things I've sewn so far have been tablecloths and cushions and I waited 2 yrs for a part of my machine.) I used this: youtube.com/watch?v=rguHHZFR-k for the pattern.
All fabrics are recycled from old cloths (I still have enough for a waistcoat). @sewing

An elk plushy wears a newsboy cap. It's made from emerald green velours and a brighter green fine corduroy with red roses looking like a painting.
The top of the cap: 6 alternating parts meet under a mat red button in the same red as the darkest part of the roses. I found the button in a "treasure box" at our embroidery festival - there, people can take out used buttons by a donation.

#November page of the 2024 fox calendar.

I already teased this one last year and now it's time to share the result.

Sometimes, when the present becomes overwhelming, we long for the nostalgia-clouded memories of our childhood. For me, that's a mysterious land called "the 90s" and I guess the foxes wanted to see what it was like back then.
