I always walk briefly into the Albert Heijn grocery store at Amsterdam #Schiphol #airport just to see new products when I arrive from oversees. It is bigger than a ‘grab and go’ and offers a lot of variety. As a #transit hub where #train, #bus and #plane meet, it is a great location for an extended convenience store. There was a line up for self service coffee too. The #Dutch #stroopwafels are always a popular item. Downside, it is all prepacked.

Maria de Lurdes Sá Teixeira, or affectionately Milú, was the first Portuguese female aviator in 1928. In a deeply conservative, patriarchal society, and in the midst of a dictatorship, she managed (at great cost) to overcome prejudices and win military tests intended for men.

And talking about plane, the flight Paris-Chicago was 75% empty.

I avoid flying as much as I can because of climate change and seeing this huge plane so empty really pissed me off.

If United had a brain cell of commercial sense they would have upgraded people in Economy to Economy Premium or even Business.
When your planes keep crashing, you'd better offer some compensation for taking the risk of flying with them.
