How can anyone plan a product or a business with a dependency on an AI cloud service that is likely to be bait and switched? If you have it on-prem then at least you know that the quality 'eez wat it eez'. Using GPT4 paid on OpenAI and it is quite obviously a lighter model and become increasingly work-shy. I can download the codelama70b and have an equivalent or possibly better, completely private, quality invariant service that will still be there if the internet goes down.
