Your employer will never love you as much as your family. Your family memories will always be more precious than even the biggest work success.

Absolutely do not let your employer steal your family time without paying. Don't answer after-hours work calls/emails/texts if you're not being paid. Their understaffing is not your fault. Their lack of preparation for your reasonable leisure/rest time is not your responsibility.

Medicine especially needs to hear this.

How to spend 10 minutes to enjoy life

Maybe you listen to something else that's stimulating. You can just do that in five or 10 minutes in the middle of your day. And it really serves to break it up, center you, and ground you back into your life and why you're even working so hard.

Wake up an hour earlier

If you feel as if you don't have time for yourself and your health and your fitness, set your alarm clock an hour earlier. My nutrition and diet just cleaned up radically, and physically and mentally following that, I was a very different person.
