Concerned parents know Pharmacare is necessary to their children's survival, but Conservative politicians see medically necessary drugs as "radical". "Medicare saved my daughter. Pharmacare will keep her alive. No parent should have to stare at an emergency airlift and wonder if they can afford the drugs and medical supplies to keep their child alive. That's what I'll be thinking about when I cast my vote in this federal election."

My parents’ neighbour (who has type 1 diabetes): I don’t see why Alberta should opt in to the #pharmacare plan.

My parents remind her about other people who don’t have employer coverage, including a mutual friend who has to remortgage their house to pay for their kids’ insulin.

Neighbour: I have coverage through my employer so I don’t need it. I pay $260 a month for my plan and it covers every thing I need.
