I think we're back to the "where to move this account" question. (and I have yet to find an answer.)
- First, when Firefish died, I thought the answer was going to be the new #Iceshrimp, but it's been more than a year and I'm not sure it's going to be a thing ever. (And I never fully liked Sharkey, for reasons)
- Next, I tried #Akkomane. I thought it was going to be the place, but a few things were deal breakers (I forgot which ones, whoops... but they did greatly bother me at the time)
- Then came #Wafrn. Despite the unpractical name, I love the idea (it uses both ActivityPub and ATProtocol natively), but the UI is just not for me.
- I've been waiting for #Ghost 6.0 release for a little while now. It's imminent. However, it doesn't seem that they will release a full #microblogging platform. I doubt that it'll be much different from the beta (which is great, but can't replace a full-blown platform)
- And I'm extremely interested in #Bonfire, but it won't be ready for users like me for another few months I believe...
Meanwhile, my feed hasn't been working for weeks on my account's #Firefish page, and now, the notifications have stopped working with #Phanpy (I've used this account, partly with the native UI and partly with Phanpy for a little while).
I guess a temporary #Mastodon account will have to be it until something that can replace it comes along (I'm confident that Bonfire will be the one, but I was confident Iceshrimp and Akkomane were going to be the ones too... So...

I just built and updated https://phanpy.hear-me.social to the latest version that was released this morning.
As I always remind, the #Phanpy UI is superior to the Mastodon UI, IMHO. And it works with other Fediverse applications like Friendica and Pixelfed. You should try it if you haven't already.

Wenn ich in phanpy einen Post aufrufe, sehe ich die Antworten darauf, obwohl es heißt, ich müsse mich mit "meiner Instanz anmelden".
Wenn ich mich dann "mit meiner Instanz" angemeldet habe, sehe ich die Antworten nicht mehr.
Woran kann das liegen?
iceshrimp.de föderiert doch mit dresden.network und ich interagiere ja seit Monaten auch mit Beiträgen von dresden.network.
Fiel mir mit anderen Instanzen auch schon auf ...

Ma to hodne ostre hrany, ale v zasade se mi povedlo vsechno, co jsem chtel:
- smazal jsem bariery mezi webem, serverem a clientem.
- read-only pristup bez prihlaseni
- vlastni nalodeni
- podle otazek dostane novy uzivatel defaultni seznam sledovanych (zatim top ceske ucty).
Budu rad za vyzkouseni a feedback 
giving #Statuzer a try as #Pixelfed webclient, #Phanpy is great but having to expand a popup menu to fave really gets on my nerves ... 1st impression is very good, not as elegant as Phanpy and has some additional options, like filtering (!!!) which is a big help while we wait for the next Pixelfed release
Jeśli ktoś używa #Phanpy jako nakładki na Mastodona, to chciałem poinformować, że polskie tłumaczenie dopiero w następnej wersji tłumaczenia będzie lepsze i bardziej spójne.
Okazuje się, że zmiany w tłumaczeniach można sprawdzać na wersji deweloperskiej, gdzie są aktualizowane co jakiś czas. Dotąd myślałem, że muszę czekać na wydanie kolejnej wersji oficjalnej, żeby móc podejrzeć jak to wygląda.
W ciągu ostatnich kilku dni wprowadziłem trochę poprawek i uzupełniłem braki, więc zmiany zobaczycie jak tłumaczenie zostanie zaktualizowane.

I've been offline for hours this morn & have not yet read any of my timelines, so if you've already tooted about this i've not yet seen it. Hence, when a few minutes ago i made a reply to someone's overnight toot to me, & then saw the unexpected little info balloon appear, inviting me to see what i'd just sent, i was so excited i just whooped & giggled for a minute. It's soooooo good! Afaict, iirc, as nice as it is the #Phanpy client now no longer has any advantages for my use-case anymore, compared to #Statuzer.

Polskie tłumaczenie #Phanpy zostało zrobione w 100%, ale kilka rzeczy będzie tam wymagać jeszcze poprawek. Mam więc pytanie, bo wydaje mi się, że w tłumaczeniu GUI należałoby zachować spójność, ale w trakcie prób poprawiania naszły mnie wątpliwości:
1. ODPOWIADAMY czy KOMENTUJEMY? (piszemy ODPOWIEDŹ czy KOMENTARZ?)
2. Piszemy POSTY czy WPISY?

Is there any way that the Statuzer UI design can be made to also support such a feature? It really is tremendously handy to use, as one can do an almost real-time reality-check on one's just-sent toot, to double-check if spelling & formatting is as intended during drafting.
Ofc my earlier request months ago for a complete formatting & previewing toot-draft GUI would be better, but this would be a lovely intermediate enhancement. Thanks.

There's this feature in @phanpy called "Catch Up". Sign in using your existing Mastodon account and select a period of time to see a Dashboard of all the posts from that period with a whole load of sorting and filtering abilities.
