I attended the best band show of my life last night (#CaravanPalace at #BrooklynSteel) and despite the joy, the jostling, hours of standing, territory battles, beer spills (on me), and the usual asshole girls who do six kinds of drugs, shove everyone around for their shouty white girl blissdancing, constant phone shit, and getting sweatslimed every time they crashed into me reminds me that I became a performer to go to shows and not be in the audience.

"Median income for visual artists is £12,500 a year, a 47% decrease since 2010 ... even with working several jobs, artists in the UK will still only earn a median of £17,500 a year"
