Organic Maps: Community-Fork „CoMaps“ entsteht nach Streit und Lizenz-Ärger

Bei Organic Maps kriselt es: Die drei Hauptbeteiligten haben sich zerstritten, die MIT-Lizenz wurde heimlich gestrichen und durch ein persönliches Copyright ersetzt. Zusätzlich wurde Cloudflare-Logging aktiviert.

Die Community reagiert: Mit dem Fork CoMaps (vorläufiger Name, Abstimmung läuft noch bis 20. Mai) entsteht ein neues, konsequent offenes Projekt – Quellcode auf Codeberg.

Wer OpenStreetMap-Apps nutzt und Wert auf echte Open-Source-Philosophie legt, sollte CoMaps im Auge behalten. Die Geschichte erinnert an das Schicksal von Maps.me

Hier soir, alors que je complétais des zones d'occupation des sols vierges dans un village, la vue satellite d'une petite zone m'a questionnée. À peu près sûr que c'est une *ZH avec une doline.
Sur place aujourd'hui, j'y rencontre une maîtresse avec sa classe et 2 intervenants.
Ils y viennent régulièrement pour étudier ce milieu naturel apparemment sans grand intérêt.
Et c'est chouette !

My city has a reduce waste initiative called Bring It! where various cafes will give you a discount between 30 cents to 1 dollar for bringing your own #reusable cup for coffee (or whatever drink you're buying). A few months ago I researched #OpenStreetMap tags and found `reusable_packaging:accept=yes`, and added several of the cafes. But I wanted to check that I had added them all, and some new ones, so I needed an easy way to check and edit all cafes in my region, with #MapComplete.
