Woo! All my custom string sets from #DRstrings finally came in. Along with the tapewounds from #LaBella. Maybe tonight I'll throw them on.

Also, bought a Greco GS940 #semihollow #shortscale #bass that I'm going to convert into a #fretless #cello. That'll arrive in a few weeks.

Oh. I decided on a whim to buy a new used #Behringer graphicEQ and #DBX compressor+limiter+noise gate. I feel like I stole them they were so cheap but, I know they were sitting around for a long time.

Traded in a hard case that came w/ my #Ibanez bass.

Here's an early stage of an early #DIY -#pedalboard- err, portable desk top? for the #TwistedElectrons #drumMachine and #synthesizers.

Not yet included is the TherapSID as the sound chips are not installed. lol. One day I'll buy the final revision and add it to a real board.

Outside the frame is the #OXIinstruments One #sequencer. That came with a nice case so, I'll leave it in there for now.

Again, I need a better power solution. I need more gear altogether! lol

I made my first pedalboard. It cost me $0.

It's great because now I can pick the entire thing up and move it out of the way then just plug in the one power extension cord and everything turns on.

Yes, I need a better power solution (Cioks!) and tonnes more pedals as soon as I can afford them. lol

The mixer sort of works. It's FireWire. Fresh #UbuntuStudio install. @ardour & #Audacity both freeze when selecting the board as the input.
Created a new account on the #Ubuntu Forums so maybe I'll ask for help there. Can't afford a new mixer with USB now!

I think I might just forget getting any #bass amps.

I might do two #Tech21NYC Sansamp #rackmount pre-amps. One of which might be the Geddy Lee model? That one's got some nice grit. Along w/ the rest of my rack gear, #pedalboards, and PAspeakers! There seems to be some good PA subwoofers out there that can do 20hz but, I gotta see more specs.

I want to hit 20hz b/c I can. Got that 6-string #bassGuitar in drop E. Could use a HPF pedal to toggle those freqs.

Any #NDN #woodwork'ers / #luthiers out there?

I'm contemplating starting a #guitar company if I can gather enough interested people.

This won't be possible for a few years unless others have the funds, time, and skills to make quality stuff from the get-go. I've got some ideas. Just wanted to check in with #indianCountry #metalheads.

Time to fix this static issue. At first I thought it was the instrument input jacks. I wonder if the shop owner replaced these for me? Clearly someone has.
Now, the problem I've found is that something is not grounded properly.

While it's apart, I have cleaned the jacks and potentiometers. I wonder if perhaps I should change them. It's been three decades after all.
