@so_treu People get mad when I say this, but it’s not just #racism. It’s #misogyny too. It’s not just the racism, they’re trying to enslave women and turn us into breeding livestock, and they’re literally trying to eliminate LGBTQ people. The bigotry and hate had moved beyond race. Nobody is safe. Nobody.

I’m not allowed to say that women should be entitled to the same level of healthcare and body autonomy that trans CHILDREN get. But we aren’t. And even though I’m not saying that trans people shouldn’t get healthcare, I’m saying that cis women should get healthcare TOO, I’m not allowed to say these things without consequence. People need to hear it though.

It’s not just racism, it’s misogyny, and it’s ableism, nobody is safe.

The state-level laws restricting reproductive rights disproportionately affect Republican-voting women. Proposals to restrict voting rights would disenfranchise married women more than single women, which would again do more harm to Republican women. And there's been a big push to take female leaders down a peg, with MAGA influencers now openly saying women shouldn't be in leadership. Johnson's tantrum is more of the same. Republican men really mean all this talk about strict gender roles, and women in their party are starting to pay a personal price.
