For the past couple of years, a twi—er amplified mutual aid program has been happening. It’s called the <a href="https://med-mastodon.com/tags/medgradwishlist" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>medgradwishlist</span></a> &amp; it’s goal is to help students from <a href="https://med-mastodon.com/tags/URM" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>URM</span></a> communities in medicine get a start intern year. Students build Amazon wish lists and you can buy them stuff. There’s also a Venmo for direct donations &amp; last year they had a gofundme for buying tablets/laptops.
