50 canceled vaccination clinics
After the termination of three CDC grants to Dallas on March 24, 11 full-time and 10 part-time staffers who worked in the epidemiology group to respond to outbreaks, including measles, lost their jobs.

The loss of those staffers forced the city to cancel the large number of vaccination clinics.

It's time for a #Measles dashboard update:

The landing page now has a histogram AND a national map, capturing statewide totals. This is especially valuable since some states aren't including county data, or are including divisions like regions, which can't be captured on the cases-by-county map.

This project was constructed from local and state data first: I don't pull from CDC's national totals, but I do check my data against them frequently. Wherever local and state data aren't available, I use news articles. Every entry includes a source link in the cases-by-county table.

After bungling #Covid so bad in his final year (405K dead in 11 months), any RATIONAL human being… given a second chance to redeem themselves… would throw the kitchen sink at stopping #BirdFlu or #Measles from becoming the next deadly #pandemic.

INSTEAD, this #BatCrapCrazy #narcissist seems to have a PERSONAL GRUDGE against the agencies that tried to tell him he was screwing up, and now actively seeking to shut them down, ENSURING TENS OF THOUSANDS (MILLIONS?) MORE UNNECESSARY DEATHS.
