For me, The Mandalorian might be the best thing out of Star Wars since The Empire Strikes Back. And I love that it started the Thrawn's Return narrative that fed into Ahsoka as well.

More seriously, fantasy and sci-fi have long been my coping mechanisms for the horrors of the world we live in, and it's no surprise I've taken to Star Wars so strongly as we approached the recent US election. More than a bright distraction it helps to have my soul nourished with the thought that evil empires can be beaten by good people in the right places at the right times, and that good people far outnumber those who seek to dominate and control.
