Today, my husband and I are getting together with our kids and their families to celebrate our older kid’s 40th birthday. Hard to believe that we have a #middleaged child. So fortunate that we’re both (as a neighbor used to say) still #perpendicular.
It’s been a cold albeit dry winter. I didn’t feel like moving them from the garage to the house until the weather warmed up. Today has been a nice, comparatively warm day. I decided to unpack them and move them today. I had moved them myself when I bought them, but for some unknown reason, they felt considerably more heavy. When I reached around one of the tall cabinets, my hands would slip when I tried to pick one up. #Movies #Lucky 2/
I love reading & watching movies. I’ve watched so many movies that I’ve gotten really picky with what I watch. I seldom watch anything that doesn’t have high critical ratings. I have gotten to the point where I need a nice place to store my best movies. I recently spent a lot of money on a heavy, matching hardwood set of 7 ft cabinets, with nice trays that slide out for storing & easily choosing a movie. I figure I could store 400 to 500 movies in both together.
