Saturday morning of a long weekend... next week with all its 'normal' amount of workdays is going to be challenging, but right now I'm basically halfway through the weekend and I'm delighted about it.

Yesterday was a bit of freelance work in between food prep and pulling weeds. Also went for an evening walk with Adam; we're trying to do it at least every couple of days and I'm loving it.

Today I spent most of the morning with Dad -- we went grocery shopping and then I sorted out an app for his phone (to do with one of his health conditions). Healthtech is pretty wild, isn't it? We talked about family, death and how life is precious precisely because it's limited (this in relation to that drug that helps dogs live longer).

This afternoon is seed-sowing and possibly a nap.

Thanksgiving holidays spent well. Had a great time with friends and family over dinners. Caught up on much-needed sleep. And got some spare time to work on my passion projects that needed attention for quite some time. I did not do any black Friday shopping this year, though.

Current status: Fully reclined in the Lay-Z-Boy watching the cricket. #AnnualLeave #LongWeekend

So I got half of what I needed to do, done.

And I seem to have lost my grasp on grammar.

Anyway. Scrambling tomorrow, I guess.

The big question is if I'll remember that it's Tuesday.
