It’s funny how quickly I’ve shifted to 40mm as my preferred lens. A 40mm Minolta pretty much lives on my Leica now, and I’ve gone back to 27mm for most of my Fuji shooting. I found myself switching between 35 and 50mm (or APS-C equivalent on the Fuji) all the time and the 40 seems to have fixed that. #photography #lens

Speaking of camera, iPhone 16e has 48MP 2 in 1 Fusion Wide Angle lens camera. It doesn’t have super wide angle, but it is capable of capturing insanely sharp picture with single lens. And it can zoom like telephoto lens like iPhone 16 lineup can.

Just because I just read it again in a forum: No, lenses were already razor sharp in the 19th century. The fact that people usually didn't look sharp was due to the long exposure times (ISO #collodion: 0.25). If you shine 6000 Ws of light on a person for a collodion #portrait , you also get the impression of the capabilities of a lens from 1882.
