Switching locations to the Hallgrimskirkja cathedral in Reykjavik, Iceland. Never has there been a more viking looking thing. Pretty awe inspiring from the outside, then I looked up from within and saw this.

After around 2 weeks later, I finally managed to edit a photo I shot of the #MilkyWay whilst on a flight. Despite being an avid aurora shooter, this is rather surprisingly the first shot I've ever planned to shoot of the Milky Way!

Putting a question out there for the Mastodon #photography community.
Do you find that you have a focal length which tends to be your go-to focal length? Would be interested in finding out what it is and what kind of photos you shoot.
I'll start off. Mine is the 28mm. I use wide angles a lot when I do photojournalism as I like to get up close and put my audience as close to the action I'm covering as possible.
And also, that's the only focal length I have when shooting with the #LeicaQ3.
After lusting over others' #MilkyWay shots, I have finally managed to capture my first shot of our galactic home!
I shot this photo of the Milky Way with the pleasing green and red hues of the #AuroraBorealis in the #NightSky over #Kvaløyvågen, #Norway.
