The slide is very big, hard to photograph. The roadbed is there but nothing else - the next atmospheric river will probably knock out the asphalt this week.

So very typical. Human efforts are ever so transient. Fun fact - this iconic bicycle route was originally cut as a WPA project.

A landslide has undermined a road on a steep curve. Asphalt to the left, police tape, and muck, muck, trees to the right and down.
