Because we know that people in power always happily change their ways when you are “just nice”. Because nobody asked nicely when the regression happened almost a decade ago? Because people whose human rights are violated are supposed to “just ask nicely”.</p><p>In what world does that work? It’s on the OS projects to lobby for the resources they need to make a functioning product.</p>
