"In an alternate universe, the rise of the #antiwoke right would have been the beginning of a constitutional renaissance. At the very moment when public debate was most necessary — to address some of the most complicated and emotionally fraught issues that divide our nation — was the moment when millions of Americans felt most afraid to speak.

Ironically enough, in its blind rage and quest for control, the #antiwokeright effectively conceded one of the left’s key critiques of the American experiment.

At the risk of oversimplifying complex arguments, one of the left’s core critiques of American history and the American Constitution is that liberty can be an #illusion that masks the reality of #power."

🤔 A Scientist Thinks We Live in a Simulation—and That He’s Found Proof of the Universe’s Source Code

Could the hypothesized Second Law of Infodynamics finally deliver the ‘smoking gun’ evidence?

"In the early 4th century BCE, the legendary ancient Greek philosopher Plato put forth a simple thought experiment. Known as the Allegory of the Cave, the idea suggests that what we believe to be 'reality' could be little more than shadows dancing upon a cave wall. Fast forward to the 21st century, and scientists are pondering the same question albeit in a more technological context."

Popular Mechanics · A Scientist Thinks We Live in a Simulation—and That He’s Found Proof of the Universe’s Source CodeBy Darren Orf

So called #AI is not "just a tool".
It's a series of processes, heavily curated by humans every step of the way, to create the #illusion of a machine generating an #illusion of a statement,
consuming insane amounts of resources, leading to justifications that it all may be worth it some day, leading to further sacrifices to this illusionary #god because #sunkCostFallacy dictates the managers can't admit that it was all a hoax. It must consume more, more, more.

Considering that the #brain -- right now -- has to invert the #images being recorded in our #retinas and make them "right side up" for us, why would anybody be surprised that when you wear glasses that force the images hitting your retina to be "right side up" that the brain then inverts the images (yet again) that the the brain doesn't figure things out and makes everything right for us?

The
#reality is, our reality, is nothing more than an #illusion.

Hell, the
#eyes don't even see a full picture of the world in front of us. It's our #brains that stitch together bits and pieces and creates a cohesive world in front of us.
