Bill Pulte, #Trump’s dir of the Federal #Housing #Finance Agency #FHFA since Mar 14, 2025, issued a stmnt saying >100 employees of #FannieMae, a govt-controlled firm that underpins much of the country’s #mortgage industry, have been fired for “unethical conduct, including facilitating *fraud*.”
The stmnt offered no info about the conduct he claimed the fired employees engaged in. Pulte said he intends to make Fannie Mae & #FreddieMac *better* businesses.
