Printing MOAR vinyl holders. Going to need a lot of these. Also added a different Bambu Dashboard to #HomeAssistant that's suited for the mobile app.

Not sure how I feel about doing firmware upgrade on 12 lightbulbs
On one side, its funny, on another its more fuff to deal with . The unseen aspect of adding more local smart things to your house.
Next on the todo list, find where on earth I put that temperature sensor in the lounge to change its battery...
I am feeling particularly stupid today and I do think what I want to achieve is (has to be) fairly easy.
So I am turning to #AskFedi
I would like to monitor how long a switch was on in #HomeAssistant and am trying to setup a helper. I went with a history stats helper. But I can't seem to get a value I can check in automations later.
Reason behind, I electrically heat my water during summer when the pv provides enough power. But 2 hours during the day are enough and I don't want it to keep on
Let’s try in English…
For some time I have a #HomeAssistant network, with a few devices connected via #Bluetooth and via #Zigbee, in a flat (condo).
I was wondering if I could reach the « basement » ( 2 floors under) and the garage (1 floor under the basement).
I understand that 1 or 2 repeaters like AEOTEC Z1 might do the job via Zigbee. But what about bluetooth ? Do some repeaters allow to relay BT too ?
I’d like to connect some BT devices located in the garage and the basement to Home Assistant.
Can a bridge like NOUS E1 be used as a repeater for that?
Thanks for your help!
Just finished setting up the dual zigbee/zwave PoE kit from @tubeszb@mastodon.social
He was very helpful (as always!) in getting it working -- I needed an additional config because I had an older zigbee radio.
With the new Mikrotik networking setup I have way fewer PoE ports than I had before (24 before vs 7 now) in the network core so every bit helps!
Still plenty of open PoE ports in the media center switch so I am not exactly short on ports

Bonsoir !
So we have a solar installation with an EWZ energy manager, which is a embedded system that measures the total power of the house, both consumed and produced by the solar panel, problem is, this thing has no API and AFAIK is in maintenance mode.
With a bit of hacking around, I finally managed to get write small python script that gets the measurements from the command-line, as a small JSON dump. That was easy, now comes the hard part, integrating this into #homeassistant #homeautomation
Can you all do me a favor and check in the network settings of your #PlayStation devices what the MAC address prefixes are (first 6 digits)? Everything from PS3/PS Vita upwards helps. It will be used in #HomeAssistant for discovering devices in your network and set up the PlayStation Network integration. Please help by sharing.
Dann will man nicht proprietäre #Firmware reverse engineeren müssen.
Had to do make some tweaks to the card code I found to make the filament colors work.
Used the codes from this site: https://www.wolfwithsword.com/bambulab-home-assistant-dashboard/
#SmartHome #HomeAssistant https://hobbyblogging.de/home-assistant-installieren
Welche Automationen laufen gerade eigentlich?
Switchbot Now Officially Works with Home Assistant

SwitchBot has joined the Works with Home Assistant program. This program certifies smart home devices that are tested to work well with Home Assistant and are supported over time by their makers.

Obviously I had to create a #HomeAssistant dashboard for the 3D Printer...
The first day of water meter readings are in my #homeAssistant. I was quite surprised to see that we used 475l yesterday, which seemed like a lot to me.
So I’m now going down the rabbit hole of finding out how much water baths, showers, washing machines, dishwashers and toilet flushes use (4-6l!)
@Troggie Omigod, remote control?!?
How long before @DJDarren integrates it with his #homeAssistant and sends you unwillingly to the kitchen when he wants a cuppa?!?
@Edent I have one of these (with the “right” gas and leccy meters) and import the data to my #homeAssistant instance. Seeing (almost) realtime and historical usage is really useful for forecasting use, and seeing what devices around the house use lots of energy. Like when I’m at work and my son leaves the oven on all afternoon after cooking his lunch
