Die #Bergensbanen ist eine beeindruckende Strecke durch die Landschaft #Norwegen|s und ich kann es schwer empfehlen, diese Strecke bei Tageslicht zu befahren. Die Aussicht, gerade auf dem #hardangervidda ist unvergleichlich! Ich klebe förmlich an der Scheibe. Fotos unbearbeitet (Farbe, die wird durch die Scheiben etwas verfälscht).

Our minds just keep going back to Norway, and more specifically, the Hardanger region. We had such a wonderful time there! The nature, the peace, the vastness – it was truly an incredible landscape, and we're excited to explore more of it on our next trip.

Used the SOS button on my #Garmin #InReach for the first time. Fortunately (for me) not for me, but to get a helicopter for a Polish hiker, who broke his leg on the shore of the river next to the hut (Hadlaskard) in the middle of #Hardangervidda.

WW2, the #Telemark campaign conducted by #Norwegian #SOE operators required them to survive in #Hardangervidda, the highest northern plateau. How? Moss pre digested in reindeer stomachs, left out to freeze then cooked.

& #Oslo. It is the highest mainline railway line in Northern Europe. Crossing the breathtaking #Hardangervidda plateau
at 1,237 metres above sea level while enjoying delicious #meatballs at the #VY #diningcar is a magical experience
