As I learned about my #bloodcancer variant there were a few good things compared to other versions, like I shouldn't have to worry about my red blood count. Well they did this months bloods and now they have to worry about my red blood count as that has jumped up as well as everything else and now they are talking about blood letting to get my numbers down.

Numbers sadly a bit too small, but a reminder that oral is not the solution to everything in all #infection settings!

Just reflecting that I really enjoy my combination of specialties.
I think #geriatrics in particular - having a holistic, patient-centred, sensible, and function-oriented approach - has so much to offer #Haematology #hematology which is so cutting edge with so many developments but really benefits from that step back to take stock of what it is the patient needs and wants.
Likewise, there's some incredibly interesting work in #chip and endothelial dysf that haem brings to geris. Exciting times!
I´m new here and would love to connect to immunologists and haematologists working on #HSCT and #GVHD #treg, anyone?

Always enjoy that lecture and even better to recieve such positive feedback and stimulating discussions afterwards
Time to do my #introduction. I’m a #palliative #medicine consultant based in the UK. I’m pretty much solely a hospital consultant.
I particularly like to annoy #ICU #haematology and #acutemedicine with my suggestions/advice but am part of a team that cover the whole hospital.
I think the #NHS is a good thing.
Im also pretty interested in technology particularly #coding, my main language is #python
As mastodon likes hashtags here are a few more #PalliativeCare #Palliativemedicine
This feels a bit surreal. Not sure what will happen but keen to continue to connect with the #haemostasis community on a platform like this #bleedingdisorders #haematology #nurses #multidisciplinary #educators
