To share a Libre Office doc you would need a sharing platform. LibreOffice itself is pure local. So you could still use #Googledrive for that (that's why I said 'for a start'). To keep it out of #bigtech hands, look for alternatives: put it on your own website, or use an open source sharing platform like #nextcloud, #collaboraoffice or start a project on #codeberg.

But there will be much more options, search for 'open source filesharing' and you'll find plenty of options.

Google ogłosiło, że jego asystent AI, Gemini, zostanie zintegrowany z aplikacjami mobilnymi Dysku Google na Androida oraz iOS.

Nowa funkcja ma zrewolucjonizować sposób, w jaki użytkownicy wchodzą w interakcję ze swoimi plikami, pozwalając na ich streszczanie i zadawanie pytań bez konieczności otwierania każdego dokumentu z osobna.

Co potrafi Gemini w Dysku Google?

Zintegrowany asystent AI, dostępny bezpośrednio w aplikacji, pozwoli na wykonywanie szeregu zadań za pomocą poleceń w języku naturalnym. Główne możliwości Gemini w Dysku Google to:

  • Streszczanie treści: możliwość szybkiego podsumowania pojedynczego pliku, całego folderu, a nawet informacji rozproszonych po kilku dokumentach.

Dlatego polscy użytkownicy powinni uzbroić się w cierpliwość – nowa funkcja w Dysku Google najprawdopodobniej trafi do nich później niż do użytkowników w USA.

Przy okazji Google poinformowało również o wdrożeniu nowego modelu edycji obrazów „Nano Banana” w aplikacjach Prezentacje i Vids. Pozwoli on na modyfikowanie grafik za pomocą poleceń tekstowych, np. „zmień tło na nocne niebo z gwiazdami”.

🤔 hmmm... Connaissez-vous un lecteur de fichiers #epub et #pdf pour terminaux Android (smartphone et liseuse) qui permette de sauvegarder les citations sur un cloud autre que #GoogleDrive ?

L'idéal serait de pouvoir utiliser un accès #webDAV à mon espace chez #Infomaniak (où j'ai déjà un dossier "Livres numériques" rempli de fichiers). Ou au moins un cloud indépendant, qui puisse synchroniser entre au moins deux appareils et exporter les citations au format texte simple...

I need help with Google Drive. My team has a service account to create some files via the API. The files wind up being "owned" by the service account. Suddenly all those files are no accessible by anyone. (See first screenshot).

Google help docs say that when a file has a violation on it, the owner of the files should still be able to see them in the web interface of Google Drive with a flag on it and request a violation review. (See second screenshot). However, the owner of the service account does not see them, and we cannot log into a web interface as a service account.

Attempts to transfer ownership from the service account to a human account through the API return the error, “Consent is required to transfer ownership of a file to another user.” Help docs seem to indicate that ownership transfers are not allowed from service accounts to gmail.com accounts or across domains.

It would appear that the service account in its entirety has been flagged as being in violation of ToS. How do I request a violation review *of a service account*?

My team is a not a paying enterprise customer.
