One next week for tech in gov Canberra which will be fun.

I’d been working on my draft for the last week and everyday tore up yesterdays. Yesterday the anxiety hit in ‘you’re not going to find the clever words’ then today I wake and the words are there. Fresh new draft typed up in 20 min. It’s bare bones but has all the content and nice seams to add some funnies.

Every time I write a talk I spend 3 days as 15 year old me freaking out before everything comes back to normal. 😂 I wonder if this will ever change (oh and just like Churchill give me 25min, easy, give me 5 min and it’s going to be tough!

Anyway super pumped for talk season to be here where we go shout about how ai has no place and instead we should be focused on DDD’ing our #gitOps and #devops projects.

Nic Roland :mastodon:
Okay, authentik is up! Took a while, I was fighting against flux and the helm release because it deployed with the wrong StorageClass (I forgot to have that configuration ready before release.) Helm wasn't able to modify the PVC because they're immutable, updating the release has to wait for the initial release to succeed (which it won't) or timeout and flux is quiet on the reasons for all of this unless you know where to look 😔 lots of learning was had though!

Anyway, admin and personal user accounts created, MFA enabled. Got my first application integrated too! (actual budget)

What next? The world is my oyster... Probably gitea or semaphore.
