Schenkl | 🏳️‍🌈🦄<p>Ich hab vor ein paar Tagen so ein paar AMD-Treiber Zeugs in meinem <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a> nachinstalliert um <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/FoldingAtHome" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FoldingAtHome</span></a> nutzen zu können, seitdem spinnt mein Monitor rum...</p><p>Hoffentlich kann ich die Pakete wieder deinstalliern ohne dass alles kaputt geht.<br>Sonst muss ich das Linux neu installieren -.-</p><p>FoldingAtHome hat an dem PC aber keine Zukunkft, es ist quasi unmöglich die Energieaufnahme der Grafikkarte unter Linux zu limitieren, die wird mir viel zu laut.</p><p>Unter Windows gibt's solche Probleme ned...</p>

Und den bekommt sie direkt vom <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/Balkonkraftwerk" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Balkonkraftwerk</span></a> ;)</p><p>Also zumindest untertags^^</p>

Lance<p>My home Linux server hadn't downloaded and processed any new units for Folding at Home in about 35 days. Uninstalling and reinstalling fah-client didn't help.</p><p>So last night I uninstalled the client, then manually deleted all of the locations where parts of it get stored.
