Wish #libreoffice actually worked... Want to change to #darkmode but it either makes the background black with black text or doesn't let me change text color.....

Recently I had my first personal and definitively use case for ChatGPT, while fiddling around on a WordPress Theme.
Now a total coding noob like me can actually get stuff done, with the help of ChatGPT in just a few hours instead of days because of asking around in a forum and waiting for answers.
Development and Integration of a toggle for dark mode, coded by ChatGPT from scratch. AWESOME!
Fresh Redesign. Better Navigation. Same Mission.
Our documentation page just got a major upgrade!

It's getting more and more disorienting to me when a website doesn't have light and dark modes, and automatic switching between them based on system settings.
In particular, when I'm in dark mode, Reddit and Stack Overflow stick out like sore thumbs against everything else on my screen.
(Can't think of a reverse case ATM, except for the Tidal app and website. But also, it's not as glaring to have something dark amid bright stuff.)
The #OpenBuildService now supports #DarkMode for everyone! Thanks to all who gave feedback during the beta phase; your eyes can now chill in style Try it via: Profile → Edit → Theme → Dark https://openbuildservice.org/2025/05/22/color-theming/
#DarkMode is now live for all #OBS users! No beta, no hassle; just head to your profile settings and pick your preferred theme:
Light
Dark
System default
Smooth on your eyes, day or night. https://openbuildservice.org/2025/05/22/color-theming/
Habemus Dark Mode.

@Leah96xxx #DarkMode should be mandatory...
No dark mode for SSMS?
SQL Shades to the rescue!
Free version adds plain dark mode to the IDE (fine by me.) Paid version supports additional themes.
This solution is cleaner than the rather hacky approach of modifying ssms.pkgundef to restore a half-finished dark theme commented out by SSMS developers apparently at the last moment.
"Finally, a real dark mode for SQL Server Management Studio!"
About last night - #darkmode liquid light
#Pikchr (pikchr.org) is a great little piece of software from the SQLite folks. It parses a little language for describing diagrams with boxes and lines and things, and puts out SVG.
#OrgMode (orgmode.org) has, among many other things, a way you can make code notebooks, #OrgBabel. Like #Jupyter, but less webby, and inside #Emacs, and supporting many languages - even multiple in the same document - thence its name.
Thanks to the ob-pikchr package by @SReyCoyrehourcq, Pikchr is one of the languages you can just write in the middle of your document this way.
Pikchr supports #darkmode, and I've just made a pull request that gets ob-pikchr in on the dark-mode game.

Many thanks to Sebastien for the help ob-pikchr has provided in diagramming my thoughts! You go use it too!
