Happened to zoom out on OpenStreetMap with a cycle infrastructure view active. Jealousy.
Bad news - serious cyclist injury on Eastboro Way, #Nuneaton today. This is a busy, 40mph road (but with some drivers going faster) with industrial units and thus heavy traffic. There is no cycle infrastructure and the one footpath is not wide, but it's an important route to bypass the town centre.

Yes, Galway taxi driver behind me, that's a huge two metre pothole on Lough Atalia Road, I wouldn't drive my car through it either. I'm moving right for a reason and so if you want to call me names or shake you fist at me fine. You shouldn't have attempted that overtake. I need to get my cameras working again.

I saw folks in yellow vests testing what I presume to be new candidate city bikes for Helsinki. Apparently the plan is to replace the successful ”Alepa” bikes when the 2026 season opens, a year from now. Some of the bikes were e-assist. Even considering ebikes has been criticised by some, but is popular e.g. in Madrid. Lahti also has ebikes.

While there's a lot going on in this photo, can I point out the mid-90s Italian racing shoes in their, then very a la mode, non-matching colours. I was young, folks.
No idea who to credit/ blame for the photo.
