After finishing a roll of film on the lighthouse, the sunset suddenly burst into some of the most amazing orange and yellow colors I'd ever seen. It lit up the icy surface of Lake Michigan. Shot on Cinestill 400D, Ilford FP4 and an iPhone 15 Pro Max.

The ice that builds up on the surface of the pier was incredibly fun and challenging to walk on. It felt like I was an astronaut on another planet.

Birds and insects both seem unfazed by the ice.

The inside of a parking garage in the very early morning before sunrise. There are no red lights in this photograph, only white lights. The red glow is the result of the film stock I used called CineStill 800T which is a Kodak motion picture film with a layer removed from the back. I'm not going into the details here because a Google search will dig deeper and do a much better job of explaining the whole thing.
