@DarkOptimism That's fair. Focusing on gratitude got me through a tough period in my life, paralysed for months in a hospital bed, but the key was to be grateful for things that deserved gratitude (however small).

For the things that didn't deserve gratitude, I worked to change the ones I could change and to accept the ones I couldn't. As the old prayer goes, the trick is knowing the difference between the two.
