Dave SH<p>Rallies don't vote. Polls don't vote either.</p><p>Its hard to look at the Conservative platform and think any working class Canadian would get ahead with those policies. There is nothing that addresses the affordability crisis. Lowering income tax doesn't change how much corporations charge for things. Allowing private corporations to set up shop for resource extraction doesn't make the average Canadian any wealthier or have access to good quality services like healthcare. Commodity housing doesn't become less of a commodity because the first $1m of the asking price is tax free. Homelessness, drug abuse, mental health crises, these things aren't fixed with harsh and stern policing. The list goes on.</p><p>Austere policies are only put in place to keep powerful people powerful.
