@lccscotland this is just #ridiculous! another example of another disastrous decision the self-proclaimed leaders ( #bullies ) of the "free" world, and its impact across the world. Illegal #Cannabis is #illegal Within the context of #alcohol and #tobacco, cannabis is less harmful (check data on all 3). There was never a Public Health problem with cannabis addiction. Cannabis was proihibited because of #prejudice, #racism and pure #ignorance. "Drugs and Alcohol" is just #newspeak. #boycottusa

What to do if bullying? Try consistent boundaries

1. do not writhe or waver. (Movement attracts the bully)
2. do not attempt to appease. (Any offer is interpreted as weakness and obtains thrust)
3. flee to a safe position that you could hold with support
4. then stand still. Set limits on how others treat you. Affirm boundaries (The bully will redirect attacks eventually)
5. connect: turn to a trusted person, reach out only to someone you feel well about
6. offer backing, foster, become accomplice, enjoy

Bullying typically goes in a vicious cycle in families. Kids learn it from parents, and so on, and so on, world without end.
Not always, but often.
Bullies come in all shapes, sizes, ages, colours, religions, ages, and ethnicities.

Bullying isn't something kids necessarily "grow out of". It should always be deemed unacceptable and behaviour should be redirected as per age.

If not, it grows, and grows, and grows, and you end up with Trump and Vance.

It should always be Bullies aren't just teenagers in high school. They are also adults in offices with nice titles who thinks they have the right to break the spirits of others so they can feel better about their miserable lives.

A handful of #MAGA devotees have openly endorsed #RussianPropaganda, but more #Republicans have explained away #Trump’s behavior as reflecting some motivation other than outright sympathy for Moscow: He is transactional, he is a nationalist, he admires strength & holds weakness in contempt.

And it is all true: Trump does admire #dictators. He does instinctively side w/ #bullies over victims. He does lack any #values-based framework for American #ForeignPolicy.
