It's a relaxed Easter Monday over here. Listening to music, drawing (the just-for-fun kind of drawing), eating candies, and maybe I might go for a walk in a wee bit.
Oh... and the wee folks of Thistle Town wanted to expand a bit, so here's some tiny folks and bluebells for ya :D Please enjoy your day and stay spoooOOOOoOOOooky
Happy moist Monday.
This is a nice photo of lilac pink #bluebells from yesterday.
This #YorkshireDales walk from Grassington takes you on a circular route through Grass Wood to the pretty village of Conistone, leaving it via the dramatic Conistone Dib. Good chance of seeing #bluebells in Grass Wood at this time of year. I never seem to learn that you can’t capture the blueness of walking through bluebells.
"Woodbine & Bluebells" teableau for 04/15/25
The cup & saucer are vintage Salisbury Bone China from England; the pattern is called Woodbine, circa 1946-1960.
The #bluebells are not quite there yet in my part of #Scotland, but a warm week or two will reveal their full splendour.

One of the most beautiful things you can see in a woodland right now. #bluebells #flowers #bloomscrolling
These are the first British #Bluebells that I have seen in flower.

Some plants doing their spring plant thing. Flower is Virginia Bluebells (Mertensia virginica) and the little plant is Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis).
This is the first year the bluebells have been left alone long enough by rabbits for them to fully bloom. This is because I put chicken wire in their way.
The goldenseal make a very cute and silly-looking red drupe in the mid-summer.
I love this entirely wild patch at the front of the garden. Everything, apart from the shrubs, is self-sown (or was already here when we bought the house). I do not do anything apart from cutting it down once a year in late autumn. At the moment, the #bluebells are flowering.
Unlike the rest of the garden it is visible from the road. I am certain that some uninspired people think it is an uncared-for weed patch.
