Has anyone else had issues with Google Messages and the RCS not sending messages. I keep getting a "Message delivers when [contact] is online...." Or I can manually switch to SMS or send via SMS when it fails (despite being set to supposedly switch between the two which it doesn't do)?

It seems to be only one contact that I know of (my dad). Both of us have #android #motorolaphones both of which are 2023 Razr+.

As I am working my way (slowly) through the Harvard Classics, a thought occured to me. It is mostly philosphy and literature; which is fine, but is there a "science" version of Harvard Classics or some other science focused anthology?

Bonus question! If you could create your own science anthology, what would you include in it? Bonus points if it is in the public domain!

HELP WANTED

It is my understanding that mpv can play media on the desktop acting as a live or animated wallpaper using --wid=0. Yet when I run "mpv --wid=0 --loop=inf test.mp4" without double quotes, I don't see any output other than progress info in the terminal. I'm running this on Arch Linux with GNOME XOrg. I'll get to Wayland when I understand this.

I've read the mpv manual, https://mpv.io/manual/master/#options-wid.

Am I missing something or just not understanding this?
