Detroit_yeet 🔥🏭🔥🚫🔪🐴How to archive tweets in 2023, now that Elon's messed with the API1. Replace "twitter.com" in the link to the tweet with "nitter.net". Nitter is a Twitter "frontend" that crawls tweets for you. No sign-in required and it lets you see replies and the whole thread.2. Submit this Nitter link to the Wayback Machine at archive.org3. (Optional) Paste the link to the archive.org page into archive.ph. You might want to do this because archive.ph loads pages faster than archive.org for a variety of reasons (no audio/video archiving and no automated archiving, so less server stress, plus it's less well-known)To demonstrate this, here are four archives of an Elon Musk tweet:Direct twitter.com link archived on archive.ph: <a href="https://archive.li/LT8r6" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank">https://archive.li/LT8r6</a> (Neither of the tweets he's replying to are shown and neither are any replies to his tweet, because of massive API limits on non-signed-in accounts.
