Checked out the compressor. The pressure switch wasn't the problem, but at least it's adjusted now. And the PRV tested 😤

Looks like the motor capacitor is getting lazy. Not unusual, but a bit annoying given that this thing is maybe a year old and not used heavily.

Perhaps they used the wrong element. SeaKnight instead of AirKnight :blobcatdizzy:

Paris Bike Boom Leads to Steep Drop in Air Pollution

"The French city’s air quality has improved dramatically in the past 20 years, coinciding with a growth in cycling...Between 2005 and 2024, levels of nitrogen dioxide and fine particulate matter — two of the most harmful pollutants to human health — have been slashed by 50% and 55%, respectively.”

"City leaders including Mayor Anne Hidalgo have been making a concerted effort to pedestrianize parts of the city, improve bike infrastructure, and promote active transportation in the French capital."

Scientific American · Microplastic Pollution Is Messing with Photosynthesis in PlantsBy Joanna Thompson

Dear Friends,
These two trees, a beech on the left, a walnut on the right have been objects of admiration for some time.

Yesterday, the sky was this gray.

Recalling this moment -
the cool air moving above and around,
through my nose, into my lungs, then back out
head upward - breathe, click, breathe.

Stating the obvious - all of this is a miracle.

All sorts of #toxic materials are released into the #atmosphere when buildings and their contents #burn. It's why one sees urban #firefighters donning breathing apparatus. #Wildlands adjacent to the Los Angeles basin also contain #mercury and #lead in #soil and litter layers, deposited over many years from #air #pollution generated by vehicles and industries. #Wildfires often emit these heavy metals.
