K Belisario (she/her)
I’m thinking of using change scores in regression trees to probe why some people are insulated from having a rebound of anxiety/ depression symptoms whilst others are not, given alcohol’s effects as a depressant. I typically wouldn’t use change scores (i.e. measure at follow-up subtracted from baseline), but this seems like an appropriate use. I’m curious if anyone has experience of using change scores in this sort of context? This would be my first foray into Machine Learning! #Academia #AcademicChatter
