Requesting help from the #zxspectrum community.

I am looking for the original +3 manual transcription to plain Ascii text, by Russell Marks.

*EDIT. Found it. Thanks to those who boosted, and to Adam who sent the link(in replies)

There is a conversion to HTML online, but I would like a .txt copy for use on the #ZXSpectrumNext and offline use in a text editor.

If anyone has a link, it would be appreciated.

The original Tyvarian was the first real Hidden Gem on the #zxspectrumnext back in 2020.

But it's back (and not in Pog form), with Rusty Pixels turning things up to 12 with its long awaited follow-up - Tyvarian: To the Victor the Spoils, and they've given me an early look as this crystal grabbing slice of arcade action!

Time for a new #BeyondTheScanlines!

Sometimes you run into a game which you write off on its first impressions. In some cases, you might get a prod to give it another shot, usually for the better.

Something I did when I learned about Shovel Adventure: The Next Quest, a #zxspectrumnext update to the 2021 CPC/Spectrum release.

Aand of course, using the old system ROM character set that dates back to the Sinclair ZX80 is also a strong statement in favour of Sinclairicity, and a very definite form of 8-bit culture, firmly grounded in its Spectrumness, instead of adopting the graphic style of 16-bit machines that succeeded it.

Whereas I understand that clearly many devs managed to succeed in the 16-bit era on various other platforms, that's not the milieu of the vast majority of ZX Spectrum die hard fanatics, such as myself, who remain anchored somewhere before the availability of 4096 colours was a common fact of life.

My takeaway is that ZX Spectrum culture doesn't want to grow up. Not even into 16-bit world. More is not necessarily better. Better is better.

("better" defined as: sticking to the essence of the ethics, aesthetics, and general aspects that made ZX Spectrum culture unique)

Thanks @retrovulcano for shariing this game!

Just thought I'd highlight that despite Tiny Peter being a ZX Spectrum Next title, not constrained by the old limitations of the original ZX Spectrum, the author decided to use a very Spectrum-like palette (whilst at the same time, doing away with the famous attribute clash problem).

THIS IS THE WAY

In my humble opinion, anyway.
