♈️ Alright Fedi,

Where is the 🧙🏻 #Witch #Resistance 🌟 at?

What #spells are we casting on these fascist monsters and when? Where are the big group #rituals? Who's got the spells for protecting our queer friends embattled everywhere, but especially the Red and Do-Not-Travel states?

⛰️🌬🔥🌊 What #materia is needed?

Who's got the images 🖼, the birth charts 🎯, the poppets🧸🪡 and #curses?

Do we have any leader, or do I need to live my Ares ♈️ and do it?

Get. At. Me. 📲 Let's. Do. This. 🔥
🌕🌟⭕🗡📜🕯🔥

"Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and caldron bubble.
Fillet of a fenny snake,
In the caldron boil and bake;
Eye of newt and toe of frog,
Wool of bat and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg and howlet's wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.

Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and caldron bubble.
Cool it with a baboon's blood,
Then the charm is firm and good."

I've been here and there while travelling through social media in my craftroom, with all my dolls, one feet in the garden and the other one in the woods. Landed here a few days ago with a bit of doubt, but with curiosity (and probably hope deep down in disbelieving heart). I've landed in a whole new world.

Over the years online I've been gradually surrounded by more and more witches - our interests meet at some point. All kinds of witches. Interesting, weird, funny, smart, woo-woo, enchanting, theatrical, mesmerizing, highly educated, intuitive, helpful, friendly, dominating, almost aetheric and almost too serious, some deeply grounded, some flying high on their brooms, some just playing around and others just growing their wings. Readers, forest dwellers, potion brewers, shop keepers, snake oil sellers, tea spillers, servants of many different gods, researchers, crafters, bards, book keepers, story tellers, and so on. I could write a love song to all of them.

Here it feels like I'm finding the kind I feel in my bones. The ones with pebbles and sticks in their pockets. Those who form relationships with their surroundings. Those who observe. Those who care. Those who listen to slight changes in the air. Those who don't put up a show for others, but practice what they preach. Those who don't stand in ceremonial dresses (oh, I love the confidence of a ceremonial dress, I just don't have one), but sit with plants on their kness planting, replanting, checking, harvesting, silently communicating. Those who put heart, thought and good intention into their crafts. Those who read nature as a metaphor. Those who learn. Often they don't even call themselves witches or wear a badge. Often without scripts, special tools or complicated rituals.You are my kind of witches, even if you don't call yourself witches. Why haven't we met online before?

The urge to share myself with you is strong.

Just that you know, I use the word 'witch' as a compliment, and witch certainly is my favorite archetype.

If you see yourself in anything I described, please, let me find you! We share a path. I would love to know you.

Some #witches use the term #necromancy broadly: communicating with Ancestors. Thus, the coven in my #solarpunk contemporary #fantasy THE WORKING are necromancers (as are Witches in general).

Hope you'll read it--as a reviewer said, the story is a blueprint for creating the futures we desire!

Two minizines that you can make copies and hand out, or just keep one for yourself.

I will post this tonight with alt text. There's four panels and they are upside down text in parts so I'll do something different with them this evening or if anyone needs a PDF file (I've saved this with alt text) message me and I'll send you a copy.

We are handing these out at protests.

Part 2 of my introduction. I want you to know what you are getting into choosing to stick around.

I know, the dolls I make are not for everyone. I've seen a lot of confusion and even fear in the eyes of those looking at my dolls. I've also received plenty of compliments and there are a few people who collect my dolls. The biggest collection of my dolls lives in Germany with a witch who collects dolls made in the image of a witch, mythical creatures and goddesses. She currently owns about 100 of my dolls (and more made by other artists).

To be honest, it's the people who own my dolls who have opened my eyes to a doll as an important part of personal self-development and powerful vessel in spiritual practices. I knew nothing about it when I started. They are rarely just a decoration. Mostly they serve as companions, affirmations, expressions of the self and vessels of thought. And I love to talk about it all too. This is the vibe in my SiltiCrafts Witch Town. Yeah, I have a name for that mental space they come from and arrive to - it's Witch Town (although not all of them are witches).

Back from Sacred Space Conference where I offered "Solarpunk Pentacle: A Narrative for Action." I love the insights that came through from participants--one of the joys of teaching...which really becomes co-creating with the group.

So wonderful to be among folx I rarely get to see (hi @thorncoyle !) and meet so many new folx. We drew over 500 #Witches and #pagans. World-changing #magic !

@susankayequinn 's zines for the Bright Green Futures anthology were a hit!
