Whoosh
D1 - Seoul:
Our plane landed about 16:40 & we got to our hotel around 21:00. You might ask, how did it take more than 4 hours to get from the airport to the hotel. Nothing too extraordinary:
After we landed, we made a pit stop, then headed to passport control (had to turn in a health form & e-arrival card). Then we stopped to get our eSIMMS to work - this did take some time, but you need a network to get them working, so we didn't want to leave the airport until we were set. Got some cash. Then we took the shuttle from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 - besides waiting for it to arrive, it took 20 minutes with only 1 stop - just how big is that airport? We waited about 40 minutes for the express train to Seoul station. When we got to Seoul station, I think we wandered for quite a while looking to get out. We were beginning to think we'd have to live in the bowels of Seoul for the rest of our lives. A cab with an only Korean speaking driver & it was a bit after 9 when we got to the hotel.

#WhooshTravels
