Hm. #Victoriametrics is nice, but all the pre-made dashboards for #Grafana are either for Influx or Prometheus.
Prometheus I can work around (since VM supports PromQL), but it doesn't support influxQL. And I ofcourse have a few things that don't talk prometheus natively.
Monitoring POC with #telegraf, #Victoriametrics and #grafana seems to work.

Well, bugger. I seem to have accidentally entirely deleted #VictoriaMetrics from my #K3s cluster while converting it from hand-installed to Helm-managed.
It's a good job that there was nothing particularly important in it.
The problem I have now is that Longhorn is now stuck while provisioning a PV while bringing VM back up again.
We already know how storage handles data ingestion from #vminsert, turning them into “raw-row shards” in memory. However, they’re not searchable yet.
vmstorage flushes the raw-row shards data into what’s called “LSM parts”, starting with in-memory parts.

Und alle drei Systeme nutzen #ntfy für Notifications - keine E-Mails.
i switched from prometheus to vmagent and victoriametrics - way better on resource usage. i had two prometheus instances going that were _always_ oomkilled at 1gb of memory each. vmagent is going fine with a single 256Mi instance
