@dyckron #Indigenous nations and other #environmental stewards have been calling out the corrupt #AER for years and demanding that it be dismantled. This is just one more reason to do that.
There is absolutely no room for integrity, honesty or the public good in the MAGA con parties. Corrupt Cons have far more in common with gangsters than with Canadians.
Maybe after Canadian reporters are done asking #PierrePoilievre about why he can't/shan't/whatever apply for a even a 'reliable' security clearance (the most basic entry level of Canadian security clearances)
they ought to start asking Danielle Smith if SHE can get/has entry-level Canadian security clearance?

Knowing that our Premier in Alberta, Danielle Smith, not only praised this legislation in Florida, told us how she "greatly admired" governor Ron DeSantis for his "Don't Say Gay" legislation, then enacted the same sort of legislation in Alberta, is also incomprehensible.
This is what Danielle Smith supports. Extreme authoritarian rule where angry reactionaries can fire public school teachers for simply listening to their kids.
This is unconscionable. We must vote out the UCP and demand that the new government repeal these hateful transphobic, homophobic, anti-queer laws in Alberta.

It is a demon that has been well-fed, and plenty of doillars yet flow to keep it that way.
#NDP were on their way to taking the money out of AB politics, which is the first step. Otoh on that file alone so far the #UCP have taken two steps back, at least.
Alberta leaving is the end of Canada for the rest of Canadians too, which Danni knows full well.
So, it's not something to be tried like sampling a new greener-grass cola, separation is more likely permanent.
The "Alberta Advantage". Yet another children's program cut. I guess Quisling Smith has got to pay the US Republicans to screw Canada somehow.
