They choose (yes) to withstand the rampant, abusive sexism from MAGAty men, so they can enjoy their own racism, freely.
And they will defend that stance.
There is a sizable chunk of white mostly middle-aged American women who are unsalvageable, as well. We tend to think of MAGAts as men with red hats.
They are a bit more diverse.

@FranceskaMann I'm in the military. I *KNOW* what goes on inside, I don't get it by news or word of mouth from people not within.
The military is a slice of society. However, the slant to right is palpable. We have PLENTY of MAGAts onboard.
As for civilian society, the 1/3 1/3 1/3 mentioned about Germany in the 40s holds, IMO.
Within 6months we will either not have a democracy or have a split country.
I am becoming ever more pessimistic about the outcome of the tRump regime's abuses.
