Good morning Mastodonians! After a storm last night, it's still warm and humid, but not quite as warm and humid, so I had a chance to not use the AC on my car. Still, soon enough we'll be going back to breathing soup.
There's a Native American Pow Wow at a local fairground on Saturday. Wondering if it will be a genuine cultural experience or a tacky tourist trap. May not know unless I actually go, eh? Much depends on the weather...

It's been nearly a month since I last went fishing, and I will return to it before too long
Health is really the best status symbol. If you have a lot of money, wear branded clothes but are not fit then that means you really not have free time or energy to work towards your fitness and thus are corporate slave. But if you have a fit body then that means you work on your own terms and have time to spend in gym and have enough mental fitness to motivate yourself to workout everyday. #thursdaythoughts #thursday #gym #workout

Surprising to find a few juvenile Largemouth, about 8 to 9 inches long, in such a small and shallow tributary 
They darted into cover when I saw them 
Downstream from this pool is just a concrete drainpipe that pours into a lower pool, which then leads to the main stream. They are likely trapped in this small area unless there are deeper spots upstream
Good morning Mastodonians! I'm off today, so I'll be taking care of a few things before heading up to Mom's for a couple of days. Should be warm and fairly clear weather for the weekend....and then next week brings more storms, or so saith Weather Underground.
