Okay. computer novice here with hopes of advice.
Are we all supposed to be using a protection subscription like McAfee, bitdefender, Norton, Total AV, etc., ALONG WITH something like Malwarebytes, etc.; or, is one or the other all we need? I have no clue anymore as to all, some, one of the services I'm supposed to use for my little world here.
How many different computer protection services am I supposed to keep up to date?
It's an interesting point you highlight because I've never thought of things through that paradigm. Now that I see it, I realise I'm hoping to transition to #openBSD because I believe of mainstream operating systems, it probably has the best #DX.
In this particular case, I believe that the developers exploit that in order to optimise for what might be called #security which impresses me.
I realise it's probably an outlier in this regard!

Die #Überwachung einiger führt dazu, dass alle unsere Geräte unsicher werden.
#Österreich wird sich dafür also von dubiosen Firmen nicht kontrollierbare #Software kaufen.
Wer verschlüsselte #Kommunikation mitliest, kann auch #Beweise auf den Endgeräten fälschen.
Ich verstehe die #Intention, die Umsetzung ist aber #kontraproduktiv.
